What I would like right now is:
My husband home.
Candy.
A movie.
Yes. That would be nice. But it is not to be. He is working. Alas.
I would settle for two out of three, but I am not always very motivated to watch movies by myself. I get distracted. I start cleaning. Sometimes I will watch a movie, in fifteen minute intervals, over the space of a week . I find this very enjoyable. Though I am thinking it may be weird. I wonder if other people do this. Also, I need chocolate like nobody's business (though by telling you I am making it your business. So uh, feel free to bring me some).
Okay. Alright. That's it. For tonight.
Oh, one last thing: to hem, or not to hem? I was thinking this skirt would look good SHORT. But everyone in my real life life (as opposed to my blog life life) thinks I should keep it long. What do you think?

Some b-day pics because I know you want to see them (btw: it was a pirate party):
I say keep it long. It's an interesting piece at that length.
ReplyDeleteI love it paired with those fishnets and shoes.
Ahem ahem ahem... you know what I'll say... hem it!
ReplyDeleteLove your pirate's outfit my dear and your little boy is so cute. I love his pirate tattoo. xoxo
Love your outfit, what a cute necklace! You are the coolest mom and your baby boy looks adorable all dressed up.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get myself to clean when a movie is on. I have the opposite problem, I get completely lost in it.

I think you should keep the skirt long because it looks nice as it is.
ReplyDeleteI have started watching some longer movies in segments because, to me, a movie really shouldn't be much more than 90 minutes, and they all are these days.
I really love the length of the skirt. It just falls so nicely and is really flattering. Is it just me, or does your little boy look exactly like you?
ReplyDeletetransmission me
He looks so serious in that first pic! I love the skirt long, but understand the desire to hem. The proportions of it are great as it is. I love the pleats.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Dan and I always watch movies in 15-30 minute intervals each night...unless we really love something too much to stop it. We typically get distracted too...although sometimes there's nothing better than laying on the couch with your honey and some chocolate and watching an entire film.
I like it long. I think it makes more wearable! Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteAh! Your little pirate--so incredibly and adorably ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteand I love your outfit--quirky chic at it's best, and those shoes I must have! :D
and I do like the skirt long, but it would be cute either way!
ReplyDeletedon't you dare hem that skirt!!!!
ReplyDeleteif your baby was any cuter i think my face will collapse from smiling so hard- his grin is THAT infectious.
