Baby Blog

Hmmm...I'm outside.  Look, stuff on the ground.

I'm going to pick that up.

What have I got here?

Look!  It's a leaf!

I'm just going to eat that.

It's good!

Hi.  My mommy says it's never too early to start blogging.  And considering that she hasn't blogged for awhile, I thought I'd take over.  That's right!  This is now MY blog.  Yep, my baby fashion blog.  And if you don't think I'm really into this you should see me make my mommy put on all my different shoes at night (especially the pink sparkle ones, I luuuuuuv them...mommy says they're too small...but what does she know?  They're my feet!).

What I like best about this outfit is the really cool leggings that my mom made out of an old Gap sweater.  You can do this diy yourself...if you want.  I'm not going to post instructions because I'm only one; and my mommy says people can probably figure it out themselves (just think sweater into leggings...easy peasy).  You don't even need any elasitic if the sweater is already stretchy, just cut a rectangle out and stitch up the side (you can even use the sleeves!).

Um...yeah, that's all I got for now.

Peace out yo.

  7. Oil seeps into the wood and also prevents water from penetrating.
But, because it doesn't completely keep water from touching the wood, it is prone to mildew.. . If the wood is teak, it possible won't require over
the oil, as teak has natural anti-mildew properties.

Any kind of other type of wood, I would consider a marine spar varnish.
. . Spar varnish is a thick sealing coat of urethane that they use on just about all exposed wood surfaces on boats.
It comes in a gloss to satin finish, that both give the same
amount of protection. The varnish is kind of an amber color as well
as gives a deep luster to wood. It additionally tends to yellow a bit
with age.. . First, you should sand the furniture fast to ensure
a good finished surface. Use a tack cloth, or perhaps terry cloth wet with
mineral spirits to clean off any sanding dust.
When that dries, you can apply the varnish with an oil-based type of brush (these
are more expensive, but they have the perfect bristle density for applying oil-based paints
and also varnishes). Put on a fairly thin, but even coat.
You'll be applying multiple coats to get it thick. But, if we try to get it thick in one coat, you will get many drips.. . Right after the first coat, allow it dry for at least 24 hours. If you don't give it
at least that a lot time between coats, the solvents in the next
coat will dissolve many of the past coat, causing blistering.
And also, the just method to fix that is to strip all of the
    varnish off and start over
