An Incredible High

Am I the only one who gets an incredible high from shopping? Probably not. I am talking to a bunch of fashion bloggers here (for the most part).

But seriously, cocaine got nothin' on this (not that I would know, but I don't need to know, I've got SHOPPING). I love it. Love love love love LOVE it. Oh yeah. Oh, and what really gives me a high: scoring good deals. Oh, I am drooling just thinking about it!

I mean, I am almost 100% positive that if I were rich I would still shop clearance (only at Burberry, etcetera). I would. I know I would. In fact, I'm not 100% positive I still wouldn't shop at thrift stores. I mean, it would be hard to give them up, you know?

Okay. That all said, here's what I wore yesterday. Oh, but wait. I want you to know, I'm telling you all this because today I went to Winner's Final Clearance and got A LOT A LOT A LOT of stuff for VERY VERY VERY good deals. This I will tell you about tomorrow. So start getting excited NOW.

Where were we? Right. Me, yesterday:

A lot of you seemed excited about my shoes (as you should be, they rock!). And here they are again. And I recommend you buy them. Umm, never mind, the shoes are no longer available!!! Here is a post about similar pairs!

  2. I feel exactly the same way about shopping and scoring good deals. That's one of the reasons I started to blog, because my husband just didn't get how I excited I got when I found an awesome deal. I also don't think I'd give up thrifting if I were rich. I love the hunt and I get a high when I find the perfect item. Plus, you get unique things that way.

  3. Thrift shopping rocks and finding cool stuff for peanuts is so addictive I could never, even with infinite wads of cash, get as much pleasure from cruising the department stores.
Looking forward to seeing your bargains. Your shoes rock and the green jacket is fabulous.

  4. I actually don't like shopping all that much! Well, I kind of do, as long as it doesn't take too long. I get really bored otherwise XD. Usually I go shopping with my mom and we zoom in and out of shops at top speed XD.
But a good thrift find is SUCH a good feeling, it definitely beats good finds in department stores. I can look back at those clothes months later and still be amazed that I was lucky enough to find them!

Lovely outfit, I love the shirt layering (like a more stylish version of the grunge look? XD) and that coat!

  5. I totally clicked on your shoes to go buy the darn cute things (breaking my 2 shoes a year rule) but unfortunately (or fortunately for personal ethics sake) the link you have provided shows a similar, but more femme pair of lace up oxfords. They are cute as well, but yours are just a bit more masculine and classic! I scoured the site, but it seems you have the last remaining pair! Lucky girl! They look fantastic on you especially with the charcoal tights. Your whole shopping experience and journal thing sounds so great and amazing! I wish we lived close together. You are so funny and cool. Like I would love to be organized enough to have a shopping journal especially for my vintage stuff and Etsy clothing, but I buy SO much So often it would be a nightmare. The idea of it is great though. I know I have saved hundreds of thousands I am sure. Ahhh thats a nice feeling, but proof would be mind boggling!
