"mom, mom, mom"

30 minutes ago my son crawled toward me saying: "mom, mom, mom". Which I translated as: "Mommy, I'm tired, I need a nap now".

So I put him down for a nap. He is now sleeping like the little angel/monster/monkey/dinosaur he is. I realized as a picked him up and held him in my arms, that he is my joy. Nothing I can do, buy, plan, create, or imagine compares. Nothing is sweeter than this:

And now that my baby is sleeping. I can upload some photos! Here's what I wore yesterday (I thought the painted wall would make a good backdrop...but I think it might just look dirty!!). The painting in the last photo is by ME. The camper truck belongs to my brother.

outfit details:

black t-shirt, thrifted: $3

  1. Awww! He's adorable.
You look so sweet and girly in that pretty skirt.
Why does otherwise okay-looking paintwork look shabby in photos? I keep posing for pictures than realising it looks like I'm standing in the tip.

  2. Aww, your kid's really cute :D.

Cute outfit too, I really like that belt! What's the pattern on it?

With two children and a tendency to procrastinate, I don't often return comments. But I do appreciate them! So thank you!
