if Audrey wore them, they must be cool

Three years ago I tried on every pair of white sunnies I could find. They all looked BAD. Which is funny, because I am SO a sunglasses person. I mean usually EVERY pair of sunnies looks good on me!

At least that was the case until I started looking for a pair of WHITE sunnies. You see, I wanted a pair like the ones Audrey Hepburn wears in Two for the Road (her best movie in my opinion-watch it!!).

So anyway, the story goes: I was at Winners and I saw this pair of beautiful white Audreyesque sunnies; and so I tried them on. And LO! And BEHOLD! They looked AWESOME! So I thought: “Yes, yes they are here. My long and arduous sunnies search has come to a climactic and fitting conclusion.”

And then I looked at the price. Oh, dear. What was a girl to do? Two words: credit card.

I have not regretted this purchase one bit (even when the bill came). These sunnies pretty much amount to an obsession with me. I love them. They love me. And nobody can tear us apart.
