I wear this dress a lot. And for some reason I never post pics of it. So here they are! The first set is from when we went camping on Hornby Island. The other two times are just random days, I suppose. Tell me: which way do you like it best?
Also note: in the first set of pics, the daisy chain my husband made. Put that man in a field of daises and he compulsively makes daisy chains! And he's much better at it then I am! Maybe I shouldn't be sharing this information?
Also, the meshing of photos in the first pic is a beach on Hornby and some flowers also from Hornby. Ah, how I want to go back!!

Is it just me or does there seem to be a definite summer time slump in the blogging world? I know I'm feeling it.

love the first set! But then I am a sucker for cowboy boots... especially with cute girly dresses! and the blue color of your sweater and the color of your boots together are a match made in heaven! :D
ReplyDeleteFirst outfit is my favorite..but they're all quite nice!
ReplyDeleteI love that your Hubby makes you daisy chains...men need to take notes...
This is a darling little dress! and I adore it with the cowboy boots! cannot wait to see you in that fresh little mini I sent ya ;D
ReplyDeleteReally cute dress. I love the 1st outfit.:)SarahD
ReplyDeleteI like outfit #3 the best, and #1 is a close second.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wish I knew how to make daisy chains, they are so pretty!
Awww, hubby flower necklaces! I most definitely love the last photo the best, because I'm really into pattern play with the striped cardigan. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I am really being lazy with my blog. I mean I went eleven days without an update? I could kick myself! It's just so hot and who wants to be on the computer when they can be at the lake? Ahhhh.
Cheyne.
Hmmmm. I think my favourite is the one with the vest. But that might just be because I love your vest. Have I mentioned that? About your vest? The fact that I love it? Because I do. I love your vest.
ReplyDeleteYou know I vote instantly for anything involving that vest. My love for it hath not waned.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, there is a definite slump in the blogging world come summer time. There's so much daylight and so many more things to do! It'd be a waste to spend too much time on the internet...unless you're on an odd schedule and an insomniac to boot like myself I can imagine free time is scarce.
your husband definitely knows how to make chains and you can wear that dress in so many ways. you look pretty in each set of pictures. i never camp with RC yet but we used to camp before i got pregnant with her.
ReplyDeleteLove it with the leather vest!
ReplyDeleteI want to have a passionate love affair with that vest. Or maybe a long lived marriage with it. Either way, it's a work of art and I couldn't imagine a better person wearing it. LOVEE. And your dress is tres chic too ;) you're a hot momma :)
ReplyDeletelove the dress with the boots!!! so cute. and i feel the slump, both on my own blog and my participation on other blogs. it makes me feel bad to not be in touch with all my 'friends' but i'm just in a bit of a funk that i think will get better as soon as the temps get lower. ya know?
ReplyDeletei like them all, but i think the first is my favorite. i love boots and cardis AND daisy chains :)
ReplyDeletehope you have a great weekend!
I love this dress, and all the different ways you've styled it up! These photos are beautiful too--I love the collage-like compilation!
ReplyDeleteI love these kinds of posts! It makes you realize how creative we are... hehe :D
ReplyDeleteI love the first!!

Great ways that you remixed that dress! I love all the looks, but the third has to be my favorite-- I'm into pattern mixing right now. :) Cute blog!
ReplyDeletethe first ensemble is really great on you. i love those boots with the dress and blue long cardi, perfect outfit for wonderful weather over there! :)
ReplyDeletelove the experimental photos you did here too. :)
Love that leather vest. And yes, summer is slow...
ReplyDeletethe first outfit is so so cute

I love all three looks, but if I have to pick one, I'll go with the first because I like the long necklace and cardigan with the dress.
ReplyDeleteRe summer slowness, I've had to cut back blogging because of other commitments, and I've noticed that everyone else seems to be doing the same!
You've styled this dress so differently each time, great remix!! I think I like the first one best, you know how I feel about cowboy boots :) But they are spectacular!! Great post!!
