Fall always makes me feel like a dryad. Well, it makes me feel like what I imagine dryads feel like. Fall is, without a doubt, my very favourite season. So I must say I am excited that it is fast approaching. I find something about Fall eternally reminiscent; something in the air casts my memory back to all the Falls that have come before. Spring is new every year; Summer is always the same; Fall remembers; and Winter forgets. I like to remember. So I like Fall.
Here's to remembering.

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all. ~Stanley Horowitz

ReplyDeleteSuch a great outfit...I LOVE the cardi...and for $5?? So lucky!
ReplyDeleteI know on my blog I've said I don't like that Fall's coming...I'm very happy about Fall...the fashion...and the leaves turning sooo pretty...but the fact that Winter comes way too quickly into Fall makes me a little sad...specially where I live in Canada...fall lasts only a few weeks and then the snow comes...ugh...but yes...Fall I LOVE
That cardigan is gorgeous! I wish it wasn't so hot here in NY, I so want to wear sweaters! This pic of you is so beautiful. So relaxed and peaceful:)
ReplyDeleteamazing photo! it's totally making me lust after fall. too bad it'll be another 4-6 weeks before the weather actually starts to cool down here. oh well, a girl can dream.
ReplyDeleteI love Fall as well! and I do enjoy feeling like a dryad as well :) Beautiful photo--it looks like a professional portrait and you look so very lovely!
ReplyDeleteI admit, I had to consort dictionary.com for the meaning of dryad. But yes, you look positively nymph-like today. Glowing and gorgeous, darling!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful photo of you!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou and the picture both.
Who took your picture? It's great!!
ReplyDeleteJessica!
Cute, cute, cute and cute. Everything in this picture is cute.
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season, which is a little sad because where I am currently living, I don't even get the full effect of fall. I miss a good Midwestern American fall. Northern California, as great as the weather and surroundings can be, tends to disappoint in the autumn area.
You look BEAUTIFUL! And I love the photograph..and your top is very cute.
ReplyDeleteLovely !
ReplyDeletei love every season, but oh how i am looking forward to fall! great photo... love the cardi and shoes!
